Fellowship is by election. Candidates must be distinguished senior engineers nominated by existing Fellows and approved by Council. There is no application process open to the public.

The Academy is comprised of elected Fellows only. Students and young engineers may benefit from Academy programmes such as scholarships and the innovation competition.

Many events are open to the public. Check our Academy Activities page and News section for upcoming events, or contact the Secretariat for invitations to specific programmes.
