The Nigerian Academy of Engineering was in attendance at the just-concluded 2026 CAETS Conference that held in Munich, Germany from September 14th to 17th, 2026. The General Manager in person of Engr. Temitayo Okunoren-Makindipe , as well as the immediate past president, Engr. Prof. R. A. Bello and a distinguished fellow of the Academy, Prof. Godwin Igwe represented the Academy at the 2026 CAETS Conference. The primary public theme for the convocation was “From a Distance: Earth Observation for Monitoring, Comprehension and Change,” exploring how satellite and aerial data analytics can be leveraged for global sustainable innovation.
