Following the launch of the inaugural innovation competition by the Academy, there were over 100 entries received for the competition.

The innovators and their innovations passed through 2 stages of verification and the top 9 finalists were invited to an exhibition and awards night which held on the 26th of June, 2024.

2nd - Intrud-Safety Device System by Mr. Izumunna Chimezie Obinna

3rd - BMV-6 Ventilator by Mr. Babson Ajibade

4th - Mobile App-Enabled Gas Monitoring And Control Device For Underground Mines by Mr. Adebayo O. Elijah

5th - Mobile Solar Cooling System For Fruits And Vegetables by Mrs. Ogunjinrin Omolola Cecilia

6th - Damdem Systems Building by Prof. Olumide Olusanya, FNIA

7th - Aurogen Hydro-Electric Power by Aurora Robotics Club, Queens College

8th - Locally Made 380 Watts Glass Solar Panel by Mr. Adeoye Oluyori

9th - Intelligent Wheel Safety System by Engr. Dr. Abdulkadir Baba Hassan

The different innovations have several economic significance, which was what placed them as the top finalists.

The innovators received both cash prizes and awards of recognition.
