The Academy recently paid a courtesy visit to our Honorary Fellow, the Group Managing Director/CEO of ARCO Group, Mr. Alfred I. Okoigun on the 14th of November, 2025.

The Academy was led by the President, Engr. Prof. R. A. Bello and accompanied by the Honorary Secretary, Engr. C. Adelowo, the General Manager, Engr. Temitayo Okunoren-Makindipe, the Administrative Secretary, Mr. Sadiq and the Accounts Officer, Mrs. Ige. Also present was Mrs. Olubukola Oparinde, Group Head, Human Resources at ARCO.

The visit was to felicitate with Mr. Okoigun on his 70th Birthday which he marked recently and a portrait was presented to him. In addition, the President expressed the appreciation of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering to Mr. Okoigun for the support he provided towards the recruitment of the new General Manager.
